Arc flash study at Stinson Garage

Project description

The project consisted of conducting a short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash study for the new feeders supplying the electric bus chargers. A key challenge was the presence of static converters, necessitating an in-depth study of the DC buses for the STM’s Stinson garage.

Expertise
  • Coordination study
  • Arc flashes study
Mandate features
  • Study of arc flashes for the entire garage, including the direct current (DC) portion.
  • Analysis of different fault scenarios on alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) networks.
  • Production of arc flash labels specifying the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Rethinking today's engineering, for tomorrow's world.
