Electrical Engineer

- Design electrical projects in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Preparation of plans and technical specifications;
- Share responsibility for coordination among stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, current standards, and occupational health and safety regulations;
- Identify, communicate, and document deficiencies, obstacles, or delays on construction sites;
- Conduct conceptual or feasibility studies;
- Prepare simulations and specialized study reports (short circuit, protective device coordination and arc flash) using software such as ETAP or EasyPower;
- Visit various sites to perform surveys necessary for the design of plans and technical specifications or the supervision of work during the construction phase;
- Other tasks related to daily operations.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Possess minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles;
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Experience in engineering consultancy;
- Possess a valid driver’s license;
- Fluent in French and English;
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, an asset;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software, mandatory;
- Knowledge of BIM software (Revit), an asset;
- Knowledge of ETAP or EasyPower, an asset;
- Good teamwork skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
